This mid-size chess board is handcrafted from locally sourced black walnut and hard maple wood. The playing area is framed with mitered walnut and a slim maple accent. Please note that wood grain and color may vary slightly from the product photos as no two pieces are the same.

FINISH
I finish all chess boards with a durable oil & wax blend that is hand-buffed to a satin sheen.
